 RST050
The Beam RST050 is specifically designed as a Standby Battery
backup unit for use with entire range of Beam Remote Satellite
Terminals and Modules. The Battery Back up is also suitable
for use with Solar applications.
The high quality Battery backup unit provides for full cycle
charging and discharging and with an intelligent charging circuit
connects simply to the terminals to provide hours of standby
time.
Multiple Applications
The RST050 is designed for all communications applications where
an uninterrupted power source for all Beam Satellite terminals
for absolute peace of mind and security.
Simple Installation
The RST050 is a simple plug-in unit that takes the existing
power input cable from an RST series satellite terminal. A supplied
interconnecting cable is then used to connect the Battery backup
unit to the RST series satellite terminal.
The RST presents two power sockets, along with visual and audible
status information. The RST050 is fully certified and is simple
and easy to incorporate into your standard installation with
your existing terminal.

The peace of mind provided by the RST050 ensures
that you have the ability to communicate during times of power
interruption.
Power Supply AC / DC
The RST terminal uses the universal AC power supply from the main
Beam terminal to power and charge the unit. An interconnecting
cable is provided with the Battery Backup. The unit can also be
connected to 11–16V DC power.
TrackALERT / SSAS Integration
The RST050 is capable of supporting the Beam TrackALERT
interface in addition to the main communications terminal. This
will support deployment for tracking, monitoring and emergency
alert installations.
The RST050 is capable of supporting the requirements for a Ship
Security Alert System (SSAS) The RST050 used in conjunction with
the Remote Satellite Terminals and the TrackALERT units provides
backup power to all equipment.

Installation
The Battery Backup can be deployed for into various applications
and is supplied with robust mounting brackets. The RST050 can also
be easily joined to the RST100 & RST200 for ease of installation
